What originated as a small gathering of friends bar hopping across the city to raise awareness for breast cancer, has exploded into an all-out crusade in the City of Brotherly Love. Growing from one original crawl in Old City, Brews For Boobies has expanded every year in size from 40 to over 400 participants, and in number of crawls to five this year, encompassing Old City, Center City, Fishtown/Northern Liberties, and South Philly, with 100% of the proceeds from the event going directly to the National Breast Cancer Foundation for their continued support in the fight against breast cancer.
Combining a strong desire to support breast cancer awareness while raising money, an appreciation of good beers and a love for the city of Philadelphia, Brews for Boobies was established to be a lighthearted event with a powerful message. Aiming to be the city’s largest charitable crawl befitting the National Breast Cancer Foundation, this year is projected to be the biggest and best crawl yet.
